Mmmmmm, Birthday Cake!

Hello again everyone!
Here I am with another card I made for my Sister-In-Law to give to her Father-In-Law. He's actually celebrating the big 60, but he's got the hump about it so I wasn't allowed to mention it on the card! Why have the hump, any excuse for a party I say, lol! Anyway, I decided to use this stamp, it's Chef Hamish by Sugar Nellie. He's just soooo cute isn't he! I then thought "I wonder what the Sugar Nellie Challenge is this week?" and it was this fantastic sketch by Kathy (Challenge 22), so I'm going to enter this card in the Sugar Bowl Challenge this week. I used an 8 x 8 inch card from Craftwork Cards and I'm really chuffed with the result. I love this card, and loved making it, as I do most my cards, lol! So, what do you think?...

I hope the Sugar Bowl like my card too, fingers crossed. I was really, really pleased with the colouring on Hamish, I love my copics and feel like I'm getting the hang of them now. I recommend them 110%, just on case you're thinking of buying some new tools!
See you soon everyone...

Happy Halloween #2

Afternoon All,
I hope you're all well on this wet and gloomy Saturday. The weather is awful today, I really feel sorry for poor Daemo as he's racing this weekend. I know where I'd rather be, at home with the heating on and crafting which is exactly where I am!
I feel like a bit of a cheat with this post today, sorry everyone. The Halloween card I entered in the Penny Black Challenge last week didn't win and this week's Penny Black Saturday Challenge, week 72 is Halloween, so I thought I'd enter it again! Is that a bit cheeky? Yes it probably is or maybe I was just a week ahead of myself lol! Either way I still love the card and thoroughly enjoyed making it, and I did make it four times! So here's the card again...

Birthday Fairy

Afternoon all,
I hope you're all good? It's a horrible day out there today, really grey, miserable and cold. I think winter has well and truly arrived :o( On the plus, not long till Christmas, yay!!
The card I'm posting today is a birthday card I made for one of the girls who plays in my netball team. Her name is Lynsey but we have two Lynsey's on the team so we gave her the nickname Tinks as she's so petite and delicate, just like a little fairy! Although she plays a mean game of netball! I hope she likes her card, what do you think?

Afternoon all!
Well as promised, here are the other cards I've made, better late than never lol! This Wedding Card was a commission from a friend of mine who was visiting my other friend who I made the New Home Card for. She was so impressed with the card I'd made that she asked me to make a wedding card for her sister. The colour scheme was based on the colour scheme of the wedding and when Gemma picked the card up she said it was perfect! So, what do you think?...

Cowboy Birthday Card

Here we are with card number 2 for today!
This one I made for my friend at work. We call him the Cowboy as he always promotes his work straight to the Live Server and we have a little Cowboy Hat that sits on his desk, so when I saw this stamp I thought of him immediately! And he liked the card too, phew! I coloured the image with my Copics and I really feel like I'm getting the hang of them now, which makes me love them even more, lol!...

Shop-A-Holic Birthday Card

And here we are with the final card I'm posting today. Now we're all up to date, for the moment anyway but I have more to make, lol!
This was another commissioned card by my God Mum for a friend of hers who lives in America. The brief was shop-a-holic and I couldn't think of a better image than this Jolly Nation Shopper Lady. I haven't done any decoupage for ages either so this made a nice change, although I did miss not using my copics, lol! What do you think?

This card I made for my best friend to give to her little boy Finley on his 2nd birthday. He's really into cars, trucks, vans etc. so I thought the papers and stamp worked perfectly together. Emmajane was really happy with it, and so was Finley :o)
