Another one bites the dust!...

Morning All!

Happy Monday campers, another week and I wonder what this one has in store for us all?.....Ooooo wouldn't a lottery win be nice?!!  (Yeah I know, keep dreaming Cazza!!)

I hope you all enjoyed your extra hour yesterday (UK clocks went back yesterday), did you do anything good with it?  I slept through mine, probably a bit of a waste but I must've needed it right?  Lol!

Thank you for all of your lovely messages about my procedure on Friday, I had a bit of a sore throat on Saturday (nothing that a tub of Strawberry Cheesecake Hagen Daaz couldn't sort out!) but I was absolutely fine again yesterday.  I have a very rare blood disorder (I'm medically confirmed as one in a million!) which means my blood clots when it shouldn't.  This has led to me having 2 blood clots, one of which has completely clotted my Portal Vein so my blood has to flow a different way around my body using smaller veins (which weren't meant to carry so much blood) and some of these smaller veins have gone varicose in my throat and stomach.  So that's why I have to have the camera procedure, just to check I'm not getting anymore and the existing ones aren't too bad.  I'm going back to hospital on Thursday for the results but hopefully everything will be the same as last time and they won't need to adjust my meds  :o)

Right, I've probably waffled on too much now so onto my card which today is my Pollycraft Challenge DT card.  And this week my wonderful teamie Marit has chosen the the theme...

ANYTHING GOES

...so I've taken the opportunity to make a Christmas card as I really need to crack on with these now, yikes!  Here's my card...

(FYI the Christmas Chester set are on special offer at the moment, 4 digi's for £2.50!!)

Oh before I go I want to wish you all Happy Halloween!  Are you doing anything spooky today?  I'm going to be spending the afternoon making creeeeepy cupcakes to take up to my sister-in-laws this evening for my Nephews and Niece (and the adults too lol!).  I've also got the kids loads of sweets and of course their cards too.  I think me and hubby will go home when the kids are all uber hyped lol!!

Have a spooktacular day everyone  :o)

Happy Halloween!!

Morning Campers!

I hope you're all good and have had good weeks?  Mine was a busy one with paperwork mainly but hopefully after the weekend I'll have a bit more time to be creative!  I need it too, Christmas is just around the corner and I still have plenty of cards to make, yikes!

Onto today's creation which is my final Halloween card, this one is for my 9 year old Nephew.  I've used this weeks fabby Sketch Saturday sketch, here's my card...

A close up of Pollycraft's Lil Spook (how cute is he!!)...

Right, I'd better get busy.  Yesterday was a bit of a write off for me as I had to go into hospital and have an OGD (non technical term is camera down the throat!).  I've had this done about 6 times now and the last 3 I've woken up mid-way through the procedure and panicked like mad so the docs have had to stop it early before they were able to reach my stomach.  So I was very anxious yesterday but this time my specialist got an anaesthetist in to give me some extra hard-core sedation.....which worked a treat and I didn't wake up, wahoo!!  I'm so pleased it's all over with for (fingers crossed) at least another year and next time I won't be as anxious.....as long as the anaesthetist is there lol!

Have a good day all and I'll see you Monday with my Pollycraft creation  :o)

Much love,

Letraset who are offering a 5 pack of Promarkers to our lucky winner  :o))  Wanna play along too?...see you over at Pollycraft!

Well I'm definitely hoping to have some play time this week, lol!  I feel so guilty sitting in my craft room though, I feel like I have to do ALL the chores first and then job hunt for about 5 hours before I'm allowed to play, it's like being in limbo!!  My Dad keeps telling me to stop beating myself up and just enjoy the freedom, he says 'you can't find a job that doesn't exist no matter how much time you spend looking for it' and he's so right!  So I am going to stop beating myself up (if I say it out loud maybe I'll actually do it!!), still do my chores (so as not to feel too guilty and keep Hubby happy, but not ALL of them in one day!) and try and relax a little and make some cards - that's the plan anyway!!  We've got so much going on here at the moment that I should really be enjoying the quiet time while I can, fingers crossed it'll all change soon!!  Hope you all have good weeks and enjoy yourselves whatever you have planned  :o))

Much love,
