Snoozing on the sofa!

Hi ya!

Well I had a fab day Saturday at The Glitter Pot with Kay Carley, we made 4 cards (although only had time to colour 2!) and I learnt loads!  It was also a really nice change to make cards without using Designer Backing Papers but by stamping onto and embossing Bazzill card instead.  I had soooooo much fun, and of course I had to buy some goodies too, lol!

My card tonight is one I made for one of my work colleagues.  Whenever he has some time off work he always says he spends it laying on the sofa eating crisps so as soon as I saw DigiStamp Boutiques' Snoozing Chap I knew this was the perfect image for my card!  I have altered it a little and changed the newspaper to a giant packet of crisps - he he he, Steve loved it!!

Close up (sorry it's a bit blurry!)...

I didn't decorate the inside as the rest of the team needed to sign it!  And the side view piccie was really blurred but I did 3D the snoozing chap - honest!!

One down.....plenty to go!!

Morning All,

And how are all you wonderful bloggers??  Hope you're all good??

I've had a couple of days off this week which has been lovely!  Although I haven't done anything exciting it's just been great not having to go to work, lol!  I keep asking hubby if I can change careers and become a lady that lunches instead of being chained to a PC but he says he can't afford to fund my craft habit!!  So I guess the career change is out of the window then, lol!

Onto my card and this week over at Sketch Saturday we're sponsored by one of our very talented teamies, Paula aka Pollycraft.  There is such a huuuuuuuge selection of fantastic digi's to choose from at Pollycraft you really are spoilt for choice!!  And she offering an amazing prize for one lucky winner so to be in with a chance of winning, hop over to SS and join in the fun!!

Here's my card using Luna Bitterfrost...

My first Christmas Card, whoop whoop!!!  Although I did have a few little hiccups making it.  I wanted to add a charm to the card, but couldn't find my charms from last year.....until I'd already stuck the card down - why does that always happen, doh!  Then, I decided to add some snowflakes and both my snowflake punches broke!!  Luckily I found some I had from K and Co so added these instead.  Suffice to say I was on-line yesterday afternoon buying some new stash, lol.  Any excuse ay!!

Making this card has really got me into the Christmas spirit so I think this will be the first of many - about time too ay!!

Take care guys and see you all soon,
Lots of love
