1st Day at School!

Hi All,
Hope you're all good this evening and have had a fantastic bank holiday weekend? Hard to believe that our next one is.....Christmas!! OMG, where has 2010 gone? And talking of time flying by my card tonight is along that theme as it's a Good Luck for your 1st Day of School card which I've made for my Niece Maisy (yes the same Maisy who turned 4 only two weeks ago!) and another for my God Daughter. Both girls are starting school next week and I can not believe how quickly that has come around!! They're both too ickle!!
So here's their cards, simple and cute on Craftwork Cards 5 x 5 inch cards...

Told you they were simple, kind of like notelet cards. The polka dot paper is from Wild Rose Studio Polka Dot paper stack and is layered on Core d'inations Gem Stone backing card, I've used my Nesties, X-Cut Retro Flowers punches, Button Brads are by Making Memories, Pearl Gems are from The Glitter Pot and I've added Glamour Dust for extra sparkle. The Good Luck sentiment was computer generated.
I'm entering this card into 2 challenges this week:
Papertake Weekly Challenge - It's Recipe Time, 3-2-1. So it's 3 of one thing, 2 of another and 1 of another. I've used 3 pearl gems, 2 flowers and 1 stamped image.
That's it from me tonight, I've had a lovely extra long weekend but it's back to work tomorrow, groan, so time to hit the hay!
See you all soon,
Lots of love

Happy 4th Birthday Masiy!

Hi All,
Hope you're all good? Don't know about you but I am getting sick and tired of hearing about everyone else's holiday and thier hot, hot, hot weather, lol!! What on earth happened to summer? I'm trying to convince Hubby that we need a nice holiday, somewhere hot and relaxing.....I'll let you know how I go, wish me luck lol!!
Onto my card and this one I've made for our very special niece and god daughter Maisy. She's such a sweetheart and has completely stolen my heart! She's been having Horse Riding lessons and is absolutely loving it, so I had to use Tilda's Horse for her card!...

The backing papers are Pebbles Inc Flower Stripe and Doodlebug Berry Pink layered onto Bazzill Bling card, the ribbon and bow is by Papermania from their Capsule Collection, I've used my Martha Stewart Lattice border punch, Nesties, X-Cut Retro Flower punches, Woodware Daisy punch and Leaf punch, the big Daisy flowers are by Craftwork Cards as is the Happy Birthday sentiment and the gems are also Papermania. The stickers on the inside of the card are also by Doodlebug and I've added lots of Glamour Dust for extra bling!
Aswell as Horses Maisy is absolutely Cat MAD so I had to put a little cat on the inside of the card for her. She has soooooo many Cat toys but all of them are called either George or Millie which are the names of my cats, cute or what!!
I'm entering this card into a few challenges this week:
Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Challenge #60, Colour Challenge: Orange, Pink, Green, Brown and Blue (I know there's not much blue but it's there I promise, on the horses reins!)
That's it from me tonight so I'll see you all soon!

Mermaid Molly!

Hi everyone,
Well it feels like ages since my last post! I've been really busy at work doing lots of overtime and really busy at home with Hubby's VAT so unfortunately this means no time for playing! But I've managed to fit in a quick card that I've made for our best friends Daughter, Molly. I love this new Tilda stamp and these papers and couldn't wait to marry them up! What do you think?
