I'm soooooo lame, lol!!

Hiya!

Hope you're all well on this sunny afternoon?  Well, I hope it's sunny for you?  It's much cooler today after yesterday's massive thunder storms, gosh someone above the clouds was in a bad mood, lol!  I'm pleased it's cooled down though, one sleepless hot and bothered night was enough for me.  Although I do love the sun, it puts us all in a good mood doesn't it, but I don't like not sleeping!!  And I'm umpiring tonight and to try and do that in Monday night's heat must've been unbearable!!  Speaking of netball, I went and watched my girls play last night (like a good captain does) and had a little practise shooting, my first time since the break!  I wasn't back playing or anything like that, just a little mess about with the girls before the game but I have to say I was very impressed with my shots on target and even more impressed that it didn't hurt too much either, wahooooo!!  I'm hoping to get back playing for the winter league (which starts in September) and after last night I'm feeling very hopeful that I'll do it, happy days  :o))

So, why am I sooooooooo lame??  Well it's because I've spent virtually the whole afternoon trying to sell myself for a job I've applied for, I'm really not a sales person and not good at bigging myself up!!  In fact it's safe to say I'm pretty damn useless at it, lol!!  But, as I was typing away responding to this email I thought to myself 'you're quite a clever girlie and you do know your stuff!'  So why does feel like you're pulling your teeth out?!!  Aggghhhhh, I know why.....because I'm so lame lol!!

Ok, enough waffle and onto my card!  This one I made for my Uncle...

Morning!

And a Happy Monday to you all  :o)  I wonder what this week has in store for us, something good I hope?!...

You know I said I was going to have a crafty day on Saturday?  Well I did, and managed to make.....ONE WHOLE CARD lol!!!  Don't you just hate it when that happens, definitely had a missing mojo day and it started off so well!!  I just couldn't decide on anything at all (except that I needed a take away curry for my dinner, yum it was too!).  My Pollycraft DT card that I'm sharing today took me about 6 hours to make!!  I fluffed about choosing papers, cutting papers only to change my mind and then choose and cut more papers, I was driving myself nuts let me tell you!!  But in the end I created this little beauty and after all the stress, I'm actually quite happy with it!!...

Hope you're all well on this dark, wet Wednesday?! You can tell Wimbledon has started ay, lol!!

I've used a Wee Stamp on my card today, Sweet Blossom. It's the first time I've used one of these digi's. I saw her used on a couple of other people's blogs and thought she was toooo cuuuute and had to have her, lol! So here she is...

Adorable isn't she?! To me she looks like she's sitting there day dreaming the day away.....she certainly wouldn't be out on that branch today, lol!

I've had real problems trying to upload my pictures today, is anyone else having blogger issues again?? Grrrrr, so annoying isn't it!! I'm using Google Chrome (was using IE before but then couldn't comment!) and have had to change my Post Editor Settings back to Old Editor and drag my pictures down the post (remember how we used to have to do that!!). Can anyone help?

And this week is most definitely a Happy Monday for me as Paula (aka The Pollycraft Boss!) has asked me if I'd like to stay on the design team permanently!!  Obviously I had to seriously consider this for about half a nano second before saying YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS PLEEEEEAAAASSSSSEEEE!!  :o))  I'm so, so chuffed to be joining the amazing Pollycraft DT and can't wait to play with all the fabulous digi's every week  :o))

Here in the UK it's Fathers Day today so Happy Fathers Day to all but especially to my amazing Dad, Father-In-Law, Step Father-In-Law and special hugs and thoughts for my Hubby, lots of love to you all xxx

You've heard of Banksy.....

.....well let me introduce you to Dansky!!  Lol!!  My Brother-In-Law has recently started painting (well he actually started about a year ago!).  He and my Sister-In-Law are fans of Banksy and have a few prints of his around their house, so when Dan started painting he signed his pictures 'Danksy'!  It started off as a bit of a laugh but now the name has stuck!!  It was Dan's birthday on Thursday and I found this Greeting Farm 'Tank' stamp which I thought would be absolutely perfect for Danksy!!  What do you think?  (Oh and by the way, Dan doesn't have a green mohawk in real life, lol!)...

Sketch Saturday and another LOTV for Daddy!

Morning All,

Happy Saturday wahooooo!!  I hope you all have something nice planned this weekend?  The weather here in Kent isn't too bad at the moment, no rain at least but I think that's changing later and tomorrow looks like a complete wash out!!  Oh well, better stay in and craft then ay, lol!

I had a bit of a busy day yesterday and was back at A&E this time with my nephew who fell off his BMX on Wednesday night and has a massively swollen wrist with no movement at all (hmmmm, sounds familiar!!).  My poor Sis-In-Law couldn't take him as she was in the fracture clinic with his brother who fell off his scooter last Saturday and has broken his little finger bone on the top of his hand!  She's had a right old week!  :o(  Luckily no casts were needed and my Nephew has just badly sprained his wrist and should get movement back soon.  What a day but all ended well with yummy take-away  :o)

My card today is another Fathers Day one, this one is for Hubby's Step-Dad.  I've decided to give last weeks one to Hubby's Dad and my Dad's one I'll probably post tomorrow, it's all confusing isn't it!  But anyway, back to today's card and it's another LOTV Bear!  Just had to use this cute guy, perfect for Fathers Day.  What do you think?...
