Long Time No Post.....

Evening Lovely Bloggers!

I know, it's been ages (again) since I last posted...bad blogger!!  In my defence I have been really busy getting back into work, which I have to tell you I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!  Lol, I never thought I'd say that about work but I've joined the company at a really exciting time, well exciting for a nerd like me anyway!!  On the downside my crafting is pretty much non-existent at the moment but I do have a little card to share with you tonight (and I'm hoping to have more soon too!).  I made this card for our friends son, in his footie team colours!...

A close up of LOTV Super Striker!...

A side view...

And the inside, very simple but I just wanted to show you the sentiment!...

As soon as things start settling down I'll be back to blogging and visiting you all again as normal I promise!  I did spend today at the fabaroony Eileen's journaling class and I'll be back very soon to share my pages.....something completely different for me but I absolutely LOVED IT!!  But until then, much love!

Busy, busy, busy.....

Morning Peeps,

Wow, I can't believe it's been a week and a half since I last posted - where has the time gone?  Well for me I've been madly busy getting Big Boy ready to go back to school and enjoying my last few days off with Little Woo before she starts school tomorrow.  I don't know what it's like with you but round here they do a staggered start when they first start school so she's in tomorrow and Tuesday morning only this week then she does all mornings next week, until after lunch the week after and it's not until the week after that that she starts full time.  I have no idea how people that work manage this, it is a bit of a palaver!  And speaking of work.....I've gone and got myself a new job, wahooooo!!  I wasn't even thinking about it really and then a friend of mine txt me saying there was a role going at her place, 3 days a week and would I fancy it?  That got me thinking and by the end of the following day I was lined up for an interview.....I went in and got the job wahooooo!!  And now I really can't wait to get back to it :o)  It's about a 40 minute drive away near Tunbridge Wells but I'll be back doing proper IT as a SQL Server Database Developer.  It doesn't sound very exciting does it but for a nerd like me it is ha ha!!  I start on the 30th September which is when Little Woo starts school full time too so a big day for the 'Girls Team' that day!  :o)

So that's my blurb and now you're all up to date with me lol!  Onto my cards and these are the Good Luck ones I made the kids for school.  Really quick but the kids loved them!...

What a Week!

Hello!

I hope I find you all well?  Me, I'm not too bad thanks, bit of a sore throat but that's probably because the weather has gone from summer to winter overnight!  Not in temperature mind you but the amount of rain we've had today is crazy compared to yesterday which was sunny and hot!  You've got to love the Great British Weather, especially on a bank holiday weekend, it's always the same.....rain, rain and more rain lol!!

Apologies for not being about much this past week again, to say it's been manic is an understatement!  My poor Father-In-Law was rushed into hospital on Tuesday with a massive blood clot on his lung.  Thankfully he was diagnosed and given blood thinners before, well, I don't really want to think about that!  We think the clot may have formed whilst we were on holiday, we're blaming the kids, see what they do to you lol!  He's doing much better now thank goodness and was discharged yesterday, he's now at home to rest and recover :o))  So this week we've been juggling the kids and hospital visits (thank you Ma & Pa for helping out!).....we're all absolutely knackered and sooooo looking forward to a PJ day tomorrow!!

Onto my card ('finally!' I hear you shout lol!) and this one I made very early yesterday morning as I couldn't sleep.  I really enjoyed making it, I must've been craving a bit of 'think about something else' time!  Here's my card...

A side view...

Very girly and lots of fun!

Ok, time to take some lemsip so I'll love you and leave you.  Hope I didn't bore you with all the waffle and well done for sticking with me to the end of the post lol!  See you soon peeps,

Much love,
Cazza

Back so soon?!!

Morning all,

Yes I know can you believe it, 2 posts in 2 days, I'm getting good at this aren't I lol!!

We didn't have MacDonald's in the end yesterday but we did buy school shoes.....they didn't
cost £80 either, result! (although they weren't much short of it to be honest, Clarks certainly know how to charge don't they!!)  But the kids are going to look sooooo smart!  Ooooo I used to love going back to school after summer holidays - new shoes, new uniform, new bag, new pencils and pencil case, it was so exciting.....and new!!

Onto my card and this one I thoroughly enjoyed making!  It was a little fiddly doing the water bit but I was so pleased with how it ended up :o)  I made this for our Niece...

A close up of Saturated Canary's 'On the Edge'...

A side view...

My Niece, Nephew's, Bro-In-Law and Sis-In-Law have just had their family holiday in France where they spend most days swimming at the lake (or should that be lac!)  Anyway, as soon as I saw this image I thought she would be perfick for Maisy's card!

Today we're off to a kids soft play place.....hmmmmm, I really do think they need to serve wine at those places lol!  Wish me luck!!  Hope you all have a fun day :o)

Much love,
Cazza

Happy Birthday!

Good Morning!

Well as per usual, so much for me posting soon after my last post...I've decided I'm rubbish at this blogging lark lol!  However, I have made a couple of cards in my absence so at least I'm doing something, right?!  In my defence, it is half term!  Today we're off to town to buy new school shoes, that'll probably set me back about £80, yikes!!  And then maybe a sneaky MacDonald's.....well as I said earlier, it is half term!!  ;o)

Onto my card and this is a sentiment only one, I'm getting quite into these!!...

Roarsome!!

Good Morning you lovely lot!

Hope you're all good?  I know I've been MIA again but I do have a very good reason for it, honest!  You see I've just got back from a fabaroony week away to Gran Canaria, ooooo it was lush!  Weather was hot, hot, hot.....sometimes even a bit too hot!  Food and booze on tap and swimming pools galore, fabulous!  We went with my Father-In-Law and we all had a wonderful time.  The kids were constantly in the pool loving it and by the end of the week they were both so much more confident in the water and even managed a swim, all beit with life vests on but so fab to see!  Back to reality now but I do love coming home, is that sad?  As Dorothy once said, 'There's no place like home' lol!  And your own bed, you just can't beat your own bed can you?.....ha, I'm so old!!  ;o)

The view from the aeroplane window!!...

Me and Grandad Fred on the 'Boys Room' balcony with our vodka's!  Happy Holidays lol  :o)

Hubby with his coke lol!!

Happy Birthday Daddykins!

Afternoon lovely people!

Well so much for me popping back soon after my last post lol!  This past week has been manic, not only with the kiddies breaking up from school but I've had loads of stuff to sort out for hubby's company - getting all the accounts stuff sorted for the accountant, PAYE stuff, VAT stuff, blah, blah, blah stuff!!  BORING or what!!  Can't keep moaning about it though as that won't get it done any quicker will it and today my super duper Mum (thanks Mum!) has come to the rescue and taken the kids for me so I can get on.....so I best get moving!!  :o))

Onto my card and as you can see by the title of my post it's my Dads birthday today - Happy Birthday Pa!!  So why the Get Well Soon card??  Well poor Dad has had to go into hospital today to have an op to have his kidney stones removed, or in his words, have the quarry dug up!!  The hospital have cancelled on him twice now so even though it's his birthday, he's so pleased to be having the op!  We did have a Birthday Curry (yum!) on Saturday to celebrate his day so at least he still got some cake ay!!  Here's my card.....

Side view.....

As you can see, it was quite a quick make.....that'll be all the boring stuff ^ ^ getting in the way again then!!

Right, I'm off to carry on plugging the numbers but before I go I just wanted to say a massive Thank You to Faye over at Cupcake for having me on her DT.  As you may have already seen, Cupcake is having a break for the foreseeable (sob!).  I for one will miss it and I know I'm not alone but I completely understand why the break is needed, so Fluffster, Thank You for being such an awesome DT Mummy and for having me at Cupcake  :o)

Toodles!

Here they are...
