30th Birthday Card

Hi again and onto card number 2!
This one I made for one of my netball team mates whose 30th birthday is today - Happy Birthday Verity! I had to use a Tilda for this one, I get withdrawal symptom's if I don't make at least one Tilda card a week, lol! What do you think?

The backing papers are by 3 bugs in a rug, Butterfly Kisses and the polka dot paper is by pebbles inc, matted onto Bazill bling card. I used my MS Doily Lace Punch and the legless brads are by Craftwork Cards. The flowers and ribbon are from my stash and the brads for the middle of the flowers are glittered ones by Doodlebug. The sentiment on the inside of the card is by Hero Arts and the 30 is a Dimension stamp, stamped onto the polka dot paper.
I'm going to enter this card into the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog, Week 43 - A Sketch by Jay Jay. I've rotated the sketch as it fits my card better this way around, I hope they don't mind!
That's it from me at the moment. I'll be back soon though as I have lots more cards to make this weekend - bring it on!
Lots of love

Bee-day!

Evening All!
I hope I find you all well? Sorry I've not been on-line much this week, especially after posting on Monday! It's been completely manic with work and netball, I was at the O2 on Tuesday night watching England vs Australia (which unfortunately we lost by 2 goals!!) and then out playing myself last night (which we won and stay top of our division, wahoo!). But I'm here now to finally post my cards - better late than never ay! So here we are with the first one, what do you think?

The legless brads are from Craftwork Cards.
I'm entering this card into 2 challenges this week:
You never know, after winning on the Sugar Bowl I could make it a hatric in one week, lol!

1 Year Old Birthday Girl

And here's my final card for the weekend, another little girl card, aaawwwww! This one is for other best friends of ours youngest daughter who is going to be 1 on Friday. So there's been a lot of pink cards made in my house this weekend, lol! I went for a simple feel for this card too, and I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. What do you think?

The backing paper is by Pebbles Inc and I've matted it onto Bazzil Bling card. The ribbon and funky foam is from Hobby Craft and the buttons are by Papermania. The sentiment on the inside of the card is by Hero Arts and I've used my nesties. I paper pieced the number 1 as the Sizzix Smart Guy Dies I used for Cleo's name didn't have numbers (just letters), I think it's turned out well though and ties the card in nicely.
Well that's it from me tonight, I have lots more cards to make next weekend so I'll be back then. Take care until then and have a good week all!

Fairies and Butterflies!

Here's the 3rd card I made this weekend. This one is also for Isabelle (my best friends little girl) but this one is from me and Hubby. This time I wanted to make a simple card and let Tilda do all the talking rather than putting on loads of embellishments. Some times I think the simpler the better, and I really like the way this card has turned out. I was really pleased with my colouring, think I'm finally getting the hang of these copics, lol! What do you think?

The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards and the sentiment on the inside of the card is by Elzybells. I've also added some glamour dust to Tilda's wings and to the butterflies.....you can't have fairy wings without bling, lol!!

Fairytale Princess Birthday

Hi everyone!
I hope you've all had a good week? I've really enjoyed this weekend, mainly because I've spent it making cards, wahoo! So I have 4 to post for you all tonight. Princess you've ever seen!"
Sooooo cute!!
I'm entering this card in the Papertake Weekly Challenge, Sketch #34. They're looking for Guest Designers for the next 4 weeks too, so double Wish Me Luck!!

My 2nd Elzybells!!

Hiya,
And here I am with my final post this weekend and guess what.....it's another Elzybells!! Told you you'd be seeing more of them, lol! This one I made for my Nephew who's going to be 8 tomorrow. He loves his football and plays for his local team. He's just been moved from mid field to striker and I'm sure he'll be scoring loads of goals soon as he has a mean left foot on him! We went out for a birthday lunch today (it's also my Father -In-Law's birthday tomorrow and mine on Wednesday so a joint celebration!) and poor Archie was shattered as he had 5 of his mates over last night for a sleep over. My Sister-In-Law said they finally went to sleep at 2.30am!!

The papers are by Bo Bunny and backing card is Core d'Inations. The sentiment on the front of the card is also Elzybells. I used my nesties and die cut Archie's name in Funky Foam using Sizzix dies. The legless brads are by Craftwork cards and the little football on the inside of the card is also Ezlybells. The sentiment on the inside of the card is a Hero Arts stamp. I've also added loads of glamour dust for some extra bling!
I expect Archie and his friends will all be sleeping well tonight, lol!
Hope you all enjoyed your weekends and have a great week next week, I'm counting down to next weekend already!!

My 1st Elzybells!!

Hiya,
Here's my second card of the night, and my 1st ever Elzybells!! I can't believe it's taken me soooo long to buy and ink up these little cuties!! But I have bought a few of them now so you'll be seeing them a lot more in future, lol! This card I made for my Father-In-Law and as the bear implies, he's retired, so I thought this stamp would be perfect for him! This is also the first time I've ever done paper piecing too, a card with 2 1st's lol!

Rugby Hamish

Evening All,
Well I can't believe it's Sunday night already and (extremely!) unfortunately that means it's back to work tomorrow :o( Why does the weekend always go so quickly?? I wish my working week flew by as fast but it just drags and drags.....can you tell I really don't enjoy the day job!! Anyway, I don't want to shorten my weekend by thinking about work (and I'm sure you don't want to listen to me moaning, lol!) so onto the cards! I've made three cards this week and I'm posting them all tonight - see I told you I was going to try and be more organised, lol! So here's the first one!
