Back from Holiday...

Hi All,
Well I'm back from my holiday now and can't wait to get crafting again! I've really missed it these past few days whilst I was away, even though I had a fantastic time and didn't have a spare minute for crafting anyway. So to make up for it I've been out and about and also ordered some goodies on-line to fulfil my crafting fix, lol! I've bought lots of Christmas bits ready to make all my cards...well it is almost September after all, ha ha! And I can't wait to get started. There are so many lovely new products out this year, My Mind's Eye Christmas papers (all 3 ranges) are so bright, jolly and festive. And Doodlebug papers are always a favourite of mine. I've also ordered some really cute stamps from Penny Black and some Magnolia Tilda's too although I think they'll probably release a Christmas range nearer December. I hope they don't leave it too late otherwise I'll have run out of papers, lol! And I have my 3 favourite crafting magazines (docrafts Creativity, Cardmaking & Papercraft and Papercraft Inspirations) to read and get some inspiration from too. So I'll be back soon, posting all my cards and maybe some pictures of my goodies too!
See you soon...

Copics...

Evening all,
Well unfortunately I've hardly had any time at all to play with my new pens :0( BUT I have my card class tomorrow night with the fantastic Lisa Baker so I'll be able to play then, wahoo :o) Don't you just hate it when you have new crafting goodies and not enough time to play, especially when you haven't got time to play because you've got to go to boring work!! Very frustrating and no fun at all!! Oh well, roll on tomorrow night and Kitten Club. I'll let you know how it goes...
Lots of love

Bro's Birthday...

Hi all,
I know I said I was going to post this yesterday but by the time I'd finished on the computer getting everything posted and then chosen by stamps, papers, embellishments etc for my Brothers birthday card time was getting on and I wanted to get in the garden and practise some shooting before it got dark. My other passion (aside from card making!) is netball and I have a post in my garden so I like to get out there practise my shooting at least every other day! Anyway, I made my Brother's card last night in the end (after netball practise and cooking dinner), and here it is. What do you think?

I'm sorry the pictures aren't great, my camera needed charging so I had to take the pictures on my phone instead. I'm gutted actually as I was really pleased with this card and wanted to show it off to it's full capacity! Oh well, I guess the pics aren't too bad...
Card ingredients are:

Talking of tools, I've ordered myself some Copics today!! I'm sooooo excited and can't wait to start using them. I finally gave in to my temptation (as I always do, lol!) and surrendered to the Copic call! I've heard such good things about them and couldn't resist trying them out for myself any longer! I have a New Home card to make this week so I'll be playing with them very soon, and of course I'll let you see how I get on!

Princess Birthday Card (post 1 of 3)

Hi all,

It's Sunday, wahoo!! I just love Sundays as that's the day I tend to do most of my crafting. They would be even better if I didn't have to go to work tomorrow and I could continue making cards into Monday but then if I didn't work I wouldn't have any money to buy my crafting goodies aye, lol!

It was my niece's 3rd birthday on Friday so I made her cards in the week, bonus crafting time!! I made her three cards, one from her parents, one from her brothers and one from me and Daemo, yes I've been very busy!! So here's the first one, Maisy's Princess Card from her parents. Lucy (my sister-in-law) likes to send her kids big A4 size cards which I always find a little daunting to make, but once I'm in my flow I run out of room and wish the cards were bigger, lol! So, what do you think of this one?...

I followed the Just Magnolia Challenge Sketch as I thought it would work perfectly with the stamps and papers for this card. I know there's a lot of pink, but pink is the birthday girl's favourite colour (I'm rather partial to it myself!). So, what do you think?...

Happy New Home

Afternoon all,
I have some more cards to post for you today. And then I'll be making and posting more later on today, if I have my way that is! Hubby wants me to do his paperwork but card making is soooo much more fun, doesn't he get??!! I know you do, lol! So here's the first card, do you like it?
I made it for my Aunt and Uncle who recently moved house. I say recently, it was actually six months ago but we went over to their new home yesterday for my counsin's birthday party. Here's a close up of the Tilda stamp I used, how cute!!

I coloured her with Letraset Promarkers. I've recently started using the promarkers (I only bought them last week!) but already I'm starting to love them!
