Sketch Saturday.....on a Sunday - Doh!

Evening All!!

I know, I know, I'm absolutely rubbish and posting so very late - sorry everyone!  I've had such a manic week, so much so that I woke up today with a massive head ache and sore throat  :o(  But I'm not going to go on about that (copious amounts of pain relief have numbed the affected areas!) but instead I want to tell you all about yesterday!!  Yes it was the Lisa B Designs Paper-Crafting event and my first ever go at demoing!!  Gosh I was sooooooo nervous but it went really well and after about an hour I was well away chatting for England, lol!  I absolutely LOVED every second of it, if only 'normal work' was as fun!!  I was demoing the new Spectrum Noir pens - have you seen them yet?  I have to be honest.....I think they're totally fab and if I hadn't already spent a small mortgage on copics I would most definitely be investing in them!  They blend so well and the reds don't bleed, they're re-fillable too and really comfy to work with.  I had SO MUCH FUN!!  And I got to meet Karen from My Crafty Cupboard who popped in to say Hi  :o)  So a MASSIVE, MASSIVE THANK YOU to Lisa for letting me be a demonstrator for the day and to all the lovely crafters who came and supported us, it was such a wonderful experience and an amazing day  :o))

Onto my card now and this is yesterday's Sketch Saturday DT card.  What do you think?...

A close up of Nellie Snellen's 'Frog on Flower'...

And a side view...

Here's this weeks sketch, another cracker thanks Jo!!...

And this week we're sponsored by Your Next Stamp who are giving the lucky winner a $10 voucher to spend in their store!  But that's not all.....they're also offering 10% discount off your next purchase to all Sketch Saturday challengers by using the discount code found on our blog  :o)

Right, I think I'm going to take some more tablets and head off to bed!
Have a good evening all and I'll see you tomorrow  :o)
Much love,

Erm, is it possible you have a sore throat because you were gassing all day yesterday?! ;) And don't tell me about those pens, I do not want to know. I don't want them, I don't need them...
Sounds like you had a super doop day, so I will forgive you for making me wait to tell you what I think of this card. Well, I'm afraid I don't like it. I Loooooooooooooooooove it. Gingham, blue, clouds, image, flowers, fence, spotty ribbon, LOVE it. :)
See you in the morning. Unless you're gonna make me wait again. xxx

Hello Cazza, it was lovely to meet you on Saturday - I never would have guessed it was your first time as a demonstrator, you were terrific. Thank you for all the handy hints. I haven't had time to play with my Promarkers yet, but I will definitely make time this week to practice what you told me. This is a gorgeous card, I've only had a quick visit to your blog, but your work is really beautiful. I look forward to seeing lots more. hope you're feeling better.
