Sketch Saturday #155 - I'm baaaaaaaaack!!

Morning All!!

And am I glad to see you all today, wahoo!!  The sun is shining down here in Kent and I am in suuuuuuch a brilliant mood!!  Yesterday was Friday the 13th but for me it was a fantastic day  :o)  Hubby and I went and viewed a new car for me on Wednesday.....and we picked it up yesterday yaaaaaay!!  Not that I've had the chance to drive it yet but sitting in the passenger seat being chauffeured knowing it was my car was fab!!  Can't wait to drive it  :o))  Then on the way home we popped into Mum and Dad's to show them the car.....and ended up booking a holiday!!  Nothing major but we're all (including my bro) going to the Isle of Wight for 3 nights next month  :o))  And then in the afternoon I had my hospital appointment where.....I HAD MY CAST OFF WHOOP WHOOOOOOOP!!  Maaaaan that was such a long 7 seven weeks let me tell you!  My arm now feels very weird but I'm getting used to being cast free.  I still can't move my wrist much at all and it's still quite swollen but I have physio in a couple weeks to sort that all out  :o))  It looks horrible and waif like with 3 very sore looking wounds but I slept so well last night without the cast on - on the road to recovery at last yipeeeeee  :o))

So enough of me going on (sorry!) and onto this weeks challenge over at Sketch Saturday - one I've actually been able to join in with wahoooo!!  I made this with the cast still on, it took about 2 days lol but felt sooooo good to make something - I couldn't leave my spangly new craft room you see!!  So, here it is - please ignore any colouring over the lines, as I said I was still in my cast!!...

Close up of Stamposaurus Ellie No. 4 - soooooo cuuuute...

A nice and easy one  :o)  Do head over to Sketch Saturday to see the gorgeous cards my teamies have created for you - hope to see you playing along too...

I hope you're all good and have had good weeks?  I also wanted to say thank you to you all for your support and well wishes over the last 7 weeks, you guys rock!  I hope I haven't bored you all with my moaning about my wrist, lol!!  It's good to be back  :o))

Much love,

Hi Kitty,
So glad that the 13th turned out to be a fabby day for you so get that physio going so that your card making is in top gear for June.Love you new room and your baby card is beautiful, I have been scratching my head about a card for the new babe and seeing your card made me get my Ellie stamps out (not the same one) but yours has given me inspiration. Sam has had a bit of a rough week and is now is being monitored daily either at Pembury or at home by a visiting midwife and if she makes it to the 27th will be having a C section rather than wait any longer. So everytime the phone rings I'm shoving people out the way to get to it. So when we have our Friday night session I shall be a 2nd time nanna.
Lots of love, take care.
