Just like buses, two come along at once!!

Morning All!!

And Happy Saturday to you  :o))  How have your weeks been?  Good I hope?  I had a lot of comments on my Pollycraft post on Monday asking how my interview went (thanks for asking!).  I think it went well, but you never can tell can you?!  I was in there just short of 2 hours and I was also introduced to another of the bosses and shown around but I haven't heard anything since Monday.  I checked the company's website and the actual closing date is next Friday so maybe I won't hear anything until then?.....all this waiting is doing my head in, lol!  But what will be will be as they say, although I am keeping absolutely everything crossed!!

Onto my card and today's offering is my Sketch Saturday DT card.  Jo has created yet another brilliant sketch for us to play with this week and I thought the layout would be perfect for another Wedding card.....hence my post title as the last card I posted was also a Wedding card!  I made today's card for my Brother-In-Law and Sister-In-Law-To-Be who are getting married next Saturday, it's an 8" x 8" so lots of room for embellies!!  What do you think?...

I know it's purple and white again but that seems to be the colour combo everyone is going for this year, in fact all three weddings I've been invited to have chosen 'Cadbury Purple' as their colour!

A close up of Whiff of Joy's 'Wedding Cake'...

Inside of card, a bit boring I know but I was running out of Bazzill!!...

And a side view...

Here's this week's fabby sketch in all it's glory!...

And as it's the last Saturday in the month our regular sponsor is...

The Craft Barn who, as always, have generously donated a brilliant prize for the winner  :o))  Head over to Sketch Saturday and see all the deeeee-lish inspiration on offer from my talented teamies and play along too if you get a chance!!

Ok that's it from me today but I'll be back tomorrow with a bonus card that I found time to make!  Ooooo, I haven't made a bonus card for ages!  In fact, I think I made more cards when I was at work all week, lol!!

Much love,

A Cheeky Wedding Card!

Evening All,

I hope you're all well?  Super quick post from me today - my goodness I don't seem to have any spare time at all this week!  I'm off to netball in a minute but just wanted to post this card so that you don't think I've disappeared off the face of the earth, lol!  I made, as the title suggests, a cheeky little Wedding Card.  I won last month over on DigiStamp Boutique (yaaaaaaaaay!) and got to choose 5 digi's and this was one of them!  I didn't know at the time that I would be using it so quickly, lol!  Anyways, as per I was running out of time so I made a 5' x 5' shaker card and used confetti as the 'shaker' ingredients.  I think the image and paper do all the talking so didn't feel it needed anything more than that really - what do you think?

All shook up!...

To The Happy Couple!!

Hi Everyone!

Another flying visit from me tonight and this time with a card I've made for friends of ours who are getting married on Saturday. I do love a good Wedding! So here's the card...

Close up of Tilda and Edwin, coloured with my copics...

Inside of card...

The lilac backing paper is by Buzz Craft and I layered it onto Bazzill Bling Card. I've Cuttlebug'd some white pearlescent card and layered this onto the lilac paper and added some MS Valentine Lace punched paper too. The ribbon is from Hobbycraft, the pins were a prize from Dawny P as were the flowers (thanks ever so Dawny!), I've used my nesties and the sentiments were all from the Forever Friends Going to the Chapel range. The gem sprig was also from Hobbycraft.
I'm entering this card into 2 challenges:
Ok, have to dash off now but I'll see you all again real soon!
Lots of love

2nd Wedding Card - Part 1

Afternoon all!
Well as promised, here are the other cards I've made, better late than never lol! This Wedding Card was a commission from a friend of mine who was visiting my other friend who I made the New Home Card for. She was so impressed with the card I'd made that she asked me to make a wedding card for her sister. The colour scheme was based on the colour scheme of the wedding and when Gemma picked the card up she said it was perfect! So, what do you think?...

Wedding Card - Part 1

Card Number 3! (Told you I'd been busy, lol)
I made this Wedding card for best friends of ours who got married on the 19th September. Daemon was Best Man and he did a very good job of it too! I made Steve and Jo's wedding invitations so I knew the theme was purple and butterflies so I added this to the card, to make it more personal. I do love a good Wedding but their day was really special and we all had such a fab time :o)
Here's the card I made them...
